A group of well-meaning ghosts, led by William, must band together to help get rid of the door before a deadly demon can be released.

The ghosts from the sleepy English towns of Beckford and Newholm are grieving after some of their friends have moved on – for a second time. They decide to travel to the city for a break, thinking that a change of scene will do them good. What could possibly go wrong?
But in the city, this unusual, but loving, family of ghosts encounters something far more dangerous than they ever dreamed of. Some teenagers playing with a Ouija board have unleashed a powerful, evil demon into the city, and the ghosts have to stop it before it can wreak havoc on the living – and the dead.
To fight the demon, the ghosts from the surrounding towns must join forces with those in the city. But will they all survive – or can the dead die a second time?
